Rockford Diocesan SVdP to Host Fall Regional Meeting

ST. CHARLES—The 2017 North Central Region Meeting of the St. Vincent de Paul Society will be June 22–24, here.

The theme is “Hearts and Hands in God’s Service.”

A welcome retreat will be 3:30-5:30 p.m., followed by the opening Mass, which will be at 6:30 p.m. on June 22 at  St. John Neumann Parish, 2900 E. Main St., St. Charles

Morning sessions and presenters on June 23 are:
• Multi-Cultural Panel,  Pam Matambanadzo with Dalila Alegra;
• Systemic Change Home Visits and Mentoring Panel, Tom Pelger, Jeanne Harper, Jayne Stewart and Carol Maurer;
• How to Maximize Your Caring Power Using Community Impact Technology, Kyle Minckley and Joey Yarber;
• The Basics of Governance for your Council, Tom Fahl  and Mike Syslo; and

The Four Methods of Prayer, Brad Blauvelt.

Bishop David Malloy will offer Mass at noon, followed by his keynote address.

• Spiritual Advisors Roundtable, Deacon Henry J. Knapp;
• Pound Store Potential, Jody Kasten and Mark Schwartz;
•  Financial Cash Streams, Nathan Martin;
