DEKALB—Newman Catholic Student Center, 512 Normal Road, here, will kick off its finals week schedule on May 5 with a Reading Day BBQ from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Sponsored by the Student Ministry Team, it will be held downstairs in the Ahles Room and patio. Those who are able, are asked to bring a dish to pass.There will also be volleyball, bags, basketball and more to help college students de-stress before finals.

May 7-12 wil be the spring finals week 24-Hour Study session.

Newman offers  group and quiet study rooms, wi-fi internet access throughout the building, caffeinated and non- caffeinated beverages and treats.

Dinner will be provided at 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Masses will be at 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday with Adoration Monday through Wednesday, 12:30-8:30 p.m.
