Legion of Mary Curia Travels to Chicago
November 15, 2018
A group of 44 from the Rockford Legion of Mary Curia, including spiritual director Father Stephen Sabo, visited and had Mass at Our Lady of Angels Mission on Oct. 17.

They toured the fully restored St. John Cantius Church and saw a replica of an altarpiece designed by Wit Stwosz, a 15th century German sculptor.

Last, they toured St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, where they recited the Divine Mercy prayer and attended adoration featuring the world’s largest monstrance.

A guide at St. Stanislaus Kostka talked about the Chicago church. The educational and spiritual pilgrimage was planned by the Legion of Mary Curia.
