Aurora Knights Honor First Responders
December 5, 2019
The Knights of Columbus Cardinal Bellarmine Council 4849 at Holy Angels in Aurora hosted a Blue Mass on Nov. 7 to honor all first responders for their dedication and courage day in and day out, especially in light of the Henry Pratt Company shooting in February.

Carrying the offertory gifts were council member Sgt. Brad Zentmyer, and K-9 handler Sgt. Nick Wolf of the Kane County Sheriff’s department, accompanied by his dog.

Bishop David Malloy celebrated the Mass.

All denominations were welcome.

A reception was held afterward by the Bellarmine Ladies Auxiliary.
