Parishioners from St. Patrick Parish in St. Charles and St. James Parish in Belvidere join the 2020 March for Life rally at Daley Plaza in Chicago on Jan. 11.

 

The march theme was “Life Empowers: Pro-Life is Pro-Woman.”

 

It was preceded by a youth rally hosted by the Archdiocese of Chicago at 8 a.m. at the Congress Plaza Hotel, the site of the new pro-life convention, the post-march Mass for Life and the evening banquet and swing dance party.

 

Speakers at the outdoor rally included Chicago Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, Pat McCaskey of the Chicago Bears and Dawn Fitzpatrick, March for Life Chicago president.

 

Organizers  moved the rally from Federal Plaza, where it was held from 2014, to make room for the growing crowd.
