Diocean Theological Institute Beginning Spring Classes

ROCKFORD—The Diocesan Theological Institute will begin offering spring classes in ongoing faith formation for adults Jan. 18. Classes, instructors and times are:
 
 “Theology of the Body and Gender Identity” — Father Kenneth Wasilewski, diocesan ethicist; Jan. 18, Feb. 1 and 8, 1-4 p.m., DAC in Rockford.
 
 “A Pastoral Approach to Marriage, Divorce and the Declaration of Invalidity” — Msgr. Glenn Nelson, Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia; Jan. 25, 9 a.m.-noon,  Diocesan Administration Center in Rockford.
 
 “St. Thomas Aquinas” — Father David Peck, pastor of St. John Neumann in St. Charles; Feb. 22 and 29, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., St. John Neumann Parish in St. Charles.
 
 “Ten Popes who Shook the World,” Deacon Rick Marcantonio, Crystal Lake; Feb. 14 and 21, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Crystal Lake.
