AURORA—The coronavirus may have derailed Aurora Central Catholic High School’s biggest fundraiser of the year, but hopes are high that the replacement for “ACC Super Saturday Night” will raise needed funds and be lots of fun as well.

This year’s “ACC Super Online Auction” will run several days, beginning May 13 at 8 a.m., and ending May 17, at 9 p.m. Everything will be online via the Aurora Central website (www.auroracentral.com, scroll down to “News and Announcements.”)

“This year, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to do the in-person portion of our event,” says Mackenzie Livingston, recruitment director.

Even so, ongoing support for the high school is shown by the more than 75 auction items to bid on that come from “parents, alumni and from various businesses, both local and national, that support ACC,” she says.

Those items include some for now and others for later: restaurant gift certificates, tickets to sporting and special events, travel packages, gift baskets, and items for home, garden, health and beauty.
