Loves Park Parish Remembers Aborted Children at Calvary
September 24, 2020
On Sept. 12, a parishioner of St. Bridget in Loves Park placed flowers at a memorial for aborted babies in Calvary Cemetery, west of Rockford.

The parish joined pro-life Americans throughout the country for the eighth annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children.

Cemetery vigils across the nation commemorated the more than 60 million children who have lost their lives to legal abortion since 1973, and to remind society of the humanity of the unborn child.

Father John McNamara, parochial vicar at St. Bridget, led the prayer service at the diocesan cemetery.
