Servants schedule programs

 

BATAVIA­—The Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary have scheduled several online spiritual ministry programs in upcoming weeks. They are: 

 

â–º Thomas Merton: Man, Monk, Mystic, Thursday, May 20, 9:30-11:30 a.m.;

 

â–º “I Know My Wings Are Gonna Fit Me Well”: The Healing Truth in Black Spirituality, Thursday, May 27, 6:30-8 p.m.;

 

â–º Mental Health and Supportive Family Relationships, June 15, 6:30-8 p.m.; and

 

â–º Poverty: Crushing Reality and Spiritual Gift,  June 30, 9 a.m.-12 noon.

McHenry parish to host Sarah Hart

 

MCHENRY—A concert featuring Sara Hart is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 7 at the Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Road here.

 

It will be presented both in person and livestreamed.  Tickets are $5 each.

ACC golf outing set June 5

 

AURORA—The annual Charger golf outing to benefit Aurora Central Catholic High School is scheduled June 5 at Bliss Creek Golf Course, 1 Golfview Road in Sugar Grove.

 

The day for all ages will include contests, raffles, prizes and more.  Cost of $95 per player includes dinner. Tickets for dinner only are $35 per person.

Holy Cross golf outing June 11

 

BATAVIA—Early bird registration and a chance to win a $100 gift certificate ends June 1  for the annual St. Vincent de Paul Society golf outing sponsored by Holy Cross Parish here. 

 

It will be held at Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora on June 11. Tickets are $150 per golfer. Dinner only costs $50.
