ROCKFORD—Bishop David Malloy celebrated Christmas Mass at the Winnebago County Jail the on the morning of Dec. 25. 

 

During his service to the Diocese of Rockford, Bishop Malloy has made a point of celebrating Mass for inmates, citing Pope Francis: “One thing he’s big on is … mercy for inmates.”
