BELVIDERE—St. James Parish will host a retreat led by Rwandan-American author and speaker Immaculée Ilibagiza on Sept. 23-24 at the parish campus, 320 Logan Ave. 

 

The retreat will explore Ilibagiza’s witness of faith, the power of prayer and the miracles of the Rosary. The event will also include music. 

 

Ilibagiza’s first book, “Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust,” tells her story of survival, faith, and forgiveness during the Rwandan genocide of 1994.
