FREEPORT—St. Joseph Parish will host a Lenten lecture series featuring three talks by John Jelinek, director of religious education and formation, and John McGrath, retired director of ministry formation.

 

The talks are set for March 20, 27 and April 3, each at 1-2:30 p.m., at the church building, 229 W. Washington Place. 

 

Individual sessions will cost $5, or $10 for all three. Dates and topics of the talks are: 

 

-- March 20: John Jelinek, “A Beginner’s Guide to Prayer;”

 

-- March 27: John Jelinek, “A Beginner’s Guide to Community Life for a Disconnected World;” and 

 

-- April 3: John McGrath, “Discipleship Involves a Change of Heart.”
