ROCKFORD—The Legion of Mary of the Rockford Diocese held its annual Acies celebration on March 19 at Holy Family Parish. The event began with a rosary procession followed by individual acts of consecration to the Blessed Mother. 

 

Mass was celebrated by Father Steven Sabo, spiritual director for the English-speaking presidium in the diocese, which was followed by a luncheon and talk by Father Sabo. A rosary-shaped cake was part of the luncheon, as was a “garage sale” of items offered free for a donation.
