Huntley Parish Hosts Exhibit of Eucharistic Miracles
March 24, 2022
HUNTLEY—St. Mary Parish will host an exhibit of information on 60 of the Eucharistic miracles that Bl. Carlo Acutis researched in his short life of 15 years.

The exhibit begins March 26 and will be available for viewing through April 3. The posters, printed on PVC panels, as well as other promotional materials will be made available upon request to other parishes in the Diocese of Rockford.

Born in London in 1991, but raised in Milan, Bl. Carlo Acutis had a special love of the Mass, the rosary and especially the Eucharist, even at a very early age. His parents were Catholics who had fallen away from the Church.  Remarkably, he led them back to their faith.

In the four years before he died from leukemia in 2006, he researched and built an online database of Church-approved Eucharistic miracles. Since his death, physical copies of the information in the database have been exhibited on five continents.

On Oct. 10, 2020, he was beatified by Pope Francis. Bl. Acutis’ great love for the Eucharist shines in one of his favorite quotes: “The more Eucharist we receive, the more we become like Jesus, so that on Earth we will have a foretaste of heaven.”
