ROCKFORD—St. Rita Parish will hold a one-day pilgrimage to Chicago on June 17, led by Father Brian Grady, the parish’s pastor. 

 

The pilgrimage will feature tours of three historic churches and one shrine: Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica (including the National Shrine of St. Peregrine), St. John Cantius Church and St. Mary of the Angels Church. A private Mass will also be offered at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica. 

 

The cost of the pilgrimage will be $95/person, which will cover transportation on an air-conditioned bus as well as tours and tips. Pilgrims will also pay for the provided Italian lunch. 

 

Spots are limited. Find flyers and registration sheets in the church narthex, 6254 Valley Knoll Dr., and sign up in the parish office.
