WINNEBAGO—Around 25 members of St. Bridget Parish in Loves Park and others met at Calvary Cemetery, Sept. 10, to commemorate the more than 64 million children killed by abortion and to pray for future protection for life. 

 

Msgr. Stephen Knox spoke on: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

 

He explained that we are called to imitate that example of God’s loving care and welcome for each child.  

 

“We know that the little ones,” Msgr. Knox said, gesturing to the marker, “pray with us today.”
