Even the “winners” get wet at the girls’ water fight. A camper, who has just “showered” diocesan Vocations Director, Father Keith Romke, makes sure seminarian Robert “Bobby” Gonnella also gets drenched. She continued down the line, dousing the dry girls, too. (Observer St. Therese photos by Dorothea Barger)

The Rockford Diocese Vocations Office has hosted two camps at Bishop Lane Retreat House this summer.

The girls’ St. Therese Camp was June 22-25 and the younger boys’ Jeremiah Days Camp was July 6-9.

Each camp features a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, as well as a chance to meet priests, seminarians and religious sisters on an informal basis.
