ROCKFORD—Boylan Central Catholic High School has named its library for Msgr. Raymond Wahl, who was director of Catholic education in the diocese when the school doors opened.

Msgr. Wahl was among the donors to the school who attended a special Mass with students and shared breakfast in the library on Oct. 7, feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Bishop David Malloy celebrated the Mass with area priests and called it “a joy … to celebrate our Mother with you.” The bishop encouraged students to have a heart full of gratitude, to pray and grow in friendship with Jesus, and to learn to see the world through the eyes of Christ. “Saint, Scholars, Champions,” he said, quoting the school motto. “Thank you to the donors for helping our students to be all three.”

Bishop Malloy also blessed the newly dedicated library before the breakfast.
