ROCKFORD—The annual Ministry Day event for parish pastors and their staff members is coming on Nov. 7, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at St. Rita Parish Hall in Rockford.
“Growing an Engaged Parish: Strategies for Implementing the New Evangelization” will feature Mark Mogilka, veteran director of Stewardship and Pastoral Services for the Diocese of Green Bay. He is nationally recognized for his presentations and articles on leadership, building vibrant parishes, parish council and stewardship.
Ministry Day has been held in the diocese since 2005, serving parishes large and small with practical and inspirational ideas. It is designed specifically for pastors and their staffs, who may include full-time, part-time, paid or volunteers from the parish who serve at the parish in leadership roles.
Cost is $25 per person, which includes breakfast items and lunch. Register by Oct. 29.
