ROCKFORD—A fundraiser for “Chosen (Custody of the Eyes),” a feature-length film based on the work of Abbie Reese with the Poor Clares of Rockford, is scheduled 6-8 p.m., April 22, at Fisher Memorial Chapel on the Rockford University campus.

John McGrath, Rockford Diocese director of Educational Services and of Faith Formation, will introduce Reese, who will then talk about her work.

Anne O’Keefe, president and CEO of the Rockford Area Arts Council, is a co-host of the event.

The fundraiser will provide a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the film-in-progress.

Copies of “Dedicated to God: An Oral History of Cloistered Nuns,” the selection for One Diocese One Book during this Year of Consecrated Life, will be available.
