AURORA—St. George Byzantine Catholic Church is hosting a spring iconography workshop April 20-24, at the church,  720 Rural St., here.

This is an introduction to the liturgical art of the Christian East by iconographer Phil Zimmerman. The icon to be written is Resurrection of Our Lord.

Painting and presentations will be held each day from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Great artistic talent is not required and supplies are included in the $300 registration fee.

The registration deadline is April 13, but interested participants should register immediately as space is limited.

Registrants do not have to be parishioners of St. George.
