AURORA—St. George Byzantine Catholic Church is hosting a fall iconography workshop Oct. 5-9 at the church, 720 Rural St., here.

This is an introduction to the liturgical art of the Christian East by iconographer Phillip Zimmerman.
The icon to be written is St. Nicholas (left).

Painting and presentations will be held each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extra hours available if needed.  

Great artistic talent is not required and supplies are included in the $300 registration fee.

Interested participants do not have to be parishioners of St George.

Prompt registration is highly recommended as space is limited.

Registration deadline is Sept. 28.
