ROCKFORD—Caritas’ 30th Anniversary luncheon and fashion show will take place on April 27, at Giovanni’s, 610 N. Bell School Road, here.

The celebration theme is “Children... Precious As Pearls.”

There will be a social hour with silent auction beginning at 10:30 a.m.

There will also be raffle prizes consisting of $1,000 cash, Ipad 2 Gold worth $730, a gold loop and pearl necklace worth $395, a pearl necklace worth $352, and a multi-restaurant gift package.

Preschool children from St. Elizabeth Catholic Community Center in Rockford will sing a few songs before lunch, which will begin at noon.  

Lunch options are chicken bosco, lemon herb tilapia, and ratatouille. Each will be served with rolls, salad and turtle cheese cake for dessert.

The fashion show by Chico’s will begin at 12:30 p.m. Models will walk the runway to
music provided by Carl and Dianna Cole.

The tickets for the luncheon are $35. Raffle tickets are $5 a piece or $20 for five.

Proceeds will benefit the expansion of two library and resource rooms for pre-school and after-school students at St. Elizabeth Catholic Community Center.
