This year from July 10-13, the Jeremiah Days Vocation Camp welcomed 28 boys for activities, games, prayer and talks from seminarians and priests.

On Monday morning,  seminarian John Kladar organized an obstacle course, demonstrating each task before the relay event began.

Campers jumped rope, tossed balls and checkers into containers, shot hoops, stacked game pieces and kicked balls to their teammates.

The obstacle that was perhaps most difficult because of an occasional breeze involved blowing up a balloon and poking it through the air into a bag held by seminarian Charles Warren.

After the shaded activity, boys took a water break, prayed and lunched.

The always-anticipated water games were planned for Tuesday’s cookout.

The diocesan Office of Vocations plans three vocations camps at Bishop Lane Retreat Center each summer.

The remaining camp is First Call, geared for high school and college young men.
