ROCK FALLS—During Catholic Schools Week, at the end of January, the St. Andrew Thrift Shop will celebrate 10 years of supporting Catholic education at St. Andrew School.
St. Andrew School’s education commission came up with the idea for the thrift shop, beginning the search for a location in 2008 and landing one in 2014. After additional planning and set-up by the team, the shop had its grand opening and is now open 6 days a week.
For its anniversary, the thrift shop will hold a half-off sale on all items Jan. 26-31, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Sat). The shop is located at 1100B 1st Ave., here.
Visitors can purchase books, clothing, furniture, jewelry, religious items and more; they can also register to win door prizes. Funds raised go to St. Andrew School.
