Motorcycle ‘Rosary Ride’ Aug. 22

July 8, 2026

ILLINOIS—The “Illinois Knights Who Ride” invite bikers to rev up their motorcycles for their second rosary ride Aug. 22.

This year, the Knights of Columbus were inspired by this spring’s “Called By Name” campaign which honors young men who may have a calling to the priesthood (see page 3). At stops along their ride, they will pray a decade of the rosary for an increase of vocations to the holy priesthood. Non-bikers are invited to join the Knights for prayer at these stops in the Rockford Diocese and Chicago Archdiocese:

– 9:30 a.m., St. Raphael the Archangel Church, 40000 N. US Hwy 45, Old Mill Creek;

– 10:45 a.m., St. Joseph Church, 10519 N. Main Street, Richmond;

– 12 p.m., St. John the Baptist Church, 2302 W. Church Street, Johnsburg, with lunch provided;

– 1:45 p.m., St. Patrick Church, 15012 St. Patrick Rd., Hartland;

– 2:45 p.m., Sacred Heart Church, 323 N. Taylor Street, Marengo, with the conclusion of the rosary, and;

– 4 p.m. Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1023 S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake. A pizza dinner and time for fellowship will follow the Mass.
