Sidewalk advocacy class Feb. 21
The LiFE Office will host a sidewalk advocacy training session based on the Sidewalk Advocates for Life approach on Feb. 21, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Diocesan Administration Center, 555 Colman Center Dr. Attendees will learn a peaceful, prayerful, and law-abiding sidewalk advocacy method. A $10 fee helps cover breakfast and a workbook. Life Conference April 11
The Mission of Cor Jesu will hold its second annual Life Conference April 11, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at 5615 Hamilton Rd. The conference will focus on pro-life-related topics including healing for those wounded by abortion, sacrifices involved in being pro-life, and spiritual warfare. Speakers will include John McNamara, chaplain for the Rockford Diocese Life and Family Evangelization Office. Tickets are $30 before March 11 ($40 after); covers sessions, lunch, drinks and snacks.
