CRYSTAL LAKE—The 10th annual McHenry County Prayer Breakfast will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, and will feature Dr. 

 

Peter Kreeft as keynote speaker and Father Philip Kaim, Air Force Major, retired, and pastor of Holy Family Parish, Rockford, as special guest speaker.

 

Dr. Kreeft is a best-selling author of Christian apologetics. A convert to Catholicism from Calvinism, he has long helped Catholics deepen their faith. He is known for his insight, quick wit and intellectual clarity at the forefront of Christianity.

 

The event begins with Mass at 7:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1023 S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake. 

 

The prayer breakfast and program will be from 9-11:30 a.m. at D’Andrea Banquets and Conference Center, 4419 Northwest Hwy. (Hwy. 14), Crystal Lake.

 

Tickets are $35 or table of 10 for $300. Very limited seating available.
