Bishop Malloy Gives Thanks for Prayers, Gifts
April 7, 2022
DIOCESE—Bishop David Malloy celebrated a special online Mass for all the prayers and financial gifts given to the 2021 Diocesan Annual Appeal.

Each year along with a request for support of all diocesan wide ministries, the annual appeal invites Catholics to submit their prayer requests. These requests are included in Masses said throughout the year both in the Diocesan Administration Center chapel and at Bishop Malloy’s Mass of Thanksgiving.

This year the Mass was celebrated on April 1 from Bishop Malloy’s private chapel. The Mass is available for viewing on the Diocese of Rockford YouTube Channel, https://youtu.be/P-qSik1kkik, on Facebook and on the Diocese of Rockford website.

Those unable to pray the Mass along with Bishop Malloy on April 1 may still do so online.

The Mass is produced through the Office of Charitable Giving and is a way, according to director Claudia Broman, to give appreciation through prayer for all those who contribute to the work of the diocese.
