ROCKFORD—Food for the Poor’s 21st annual Evening in the Tropics will be held Aug. 27 at Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club in Rockford.

 

Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased at https://hopeforhaitians.org

 

Cocktails and Silent Auction will be held from 6-7 p.m. with dinner and program at 7 p.m. Dress is Island Casual. 

 

Funds raised at this local benefit event will support construction of a new village in North Haiti.

 

This project will help create a community which will be managed by trained local leadership and sustained though supportive activities of both Hope for Haitians and other partner NGOs.
