ROCKFORD—The Rockford Family Initiative invited pro-life protesters to bring a cross or crucifix with them to a Feb. 25 protest outside the new abortion clinic at 611 Auburn St. — “even if you have to take it off a wall in your home.”

 

The crosses were a sign of gathering “at the foot of the Cross,” where God’s children are being killed in Rockford. 

 

Several dozen pro-lifers gathered for the 1.5 hour protest and prayer vigil, carrying signs with information about abortion pill reversal and calling residents to  “keep the unborn alive in the 815.” 

 

The Rockford Family Initiative invites Catholics to dedicate this Lent to sharing the Cross with Jesus and all His children in danger of abortion.
