LOVES PARK, GENEVA—The Diocese of Rockford’s Vocation Office will offer two summer Encounter retreats for young men discerning the priesthood.

 

The one-day retreats are led by diocesan seminarians and priests and include talks, games, Mass, confessions, and more. 

 

Participants on each retreat will be placed in one of two “tracks” for different ages: Track One for seventh through ninth grade (12 years minimum) and Track Two for grades ten and up (generally, 25 years maximum, though exceptions can be made.)

 

There is no cost for the retreats. Dates, times and locations are:

 

-- July 15—Loves Park: St. Bridget Parish, 600 Clifford Ave., 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

 

-- July 22—Geneva: St. Peter Parish, 1891 Kaneville  Rd., 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
