CRYSTAL LAKE—The 12th annual McHenry County Catholic Prayer Breakfast will be held Sept. 23, here. 

 

The day will begin with a 7:30 a.m. Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 1023 McHenry Ave. The breakfast and talks will follow the Mass at 9 a.m. at the Holiday Inn-Crystal Lake, 800 S. Rte 31. 

 

The keynote speaker will be Dr. John Bergsma, theology professor at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, and the vice president of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology. He has written numerous books on Scripture and speaks frequently on the St. Paul Center’s “Letters from Home” podcast as well as on a weekly show with Scott Hahn.   

 

Kendra Tierney, founder and CEO of Catholic All Year, author of several books for and creator of the show “Catholic All Year at Home,” will speak on liturgical living in the home.
