What is a “micro school?”
May 9, 2024
A micro school is an intentionally small-scale educational environment that typically serves a limited number of students across various age groups.
In the context of a Catholic elementary micro school, it means an intimate setting where personalized attention and tailored curriculum are emphasized for students in multi-grade classroom environments.
Catholic values permeate every aspect of the micro school culture, from classroom discussions to service projects and extracurricular activities.
Through prayer, scripture study, moral instruction, preparation for the sacraments, and regular school Masses, the school strives to instill virtues such as compassion, integrity, and stewardship in students, empowering them to live out their faith as disciples of Christ.
