Christmas in July craft show July 13
Abbey Farms will hold its first Christmas in July craft show July 13, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at 2855 Hart Rd. Will feature over 75 local vendors, and food and beverages will be available. Admission is $5; children under 10 years are free.

Eucharistic miracles exhibit May 17-19
St. Mary Parish will host an exhibit on Eucharistic miracles May 17-19 at 226 E 2nd St. Hours are 8 a.m.-noon Friday, noon-6 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m.-noon Sunday. Cost: none.

Holy hour May 24 for upcoming ordinations
In preparation for the Diocese of Rockford’s ordinations,  St. Bridget Parish will hold a holy hour May 24, 7-8 p.m., in the church at 600 Clifford Ave. Msgr. Stephen Knox, pastor, will lead prayers of thanksgiving for the upcoming ordinations of Deacon Jeff Filipski  and Deacon Grant Colborn to the priesthood and Ian Ordoñez and Ryan Nooraee to the transitional deaconate. All are welcome. 
 
Sidewalk advocacy training June 1
Sidewalk Advocates for Life (SAFL) will offer a basic training session June 1, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at St. Bridget Parish, 600 Clifford Ave. The training will teach how to counsel women in crisis pregnancies to choose life, particularly at the Maray Drive abortion clinic in Rockford. Eucharistic miracles exhibit June 1-2
For the feast of Corpus Christi, Blessed Sacrament Parish will host the traveling International Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibit created by Bl. Carlo Acutis June 1-2, before and after all weekend Masses at the parish, 801 Oak St. Cost: none.

Rockford Rosary Makers meeting May 14
The Rockford Rosary Makers will gather May 14, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at St. Edward Parish’s community center behind the church at 3004 Eleventh St. All are welcome to join in celebration of the Blessed Mother and to make rosaries. Supplies provided. A break at 11 a.m. will include recitation of the rosary, Mass and a lunch. 
 
Mental Health Ministry Mass May 14
Bishop David Malloy will celebrate a Mass for the feasts of St. Matthias and St. Dymphna on May 14, 5:30 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N. Church St. Sponsored by Catholic Charities Mental Health Ministry, the Mass will be held to pray for those living with addiction, mental health challenges and families supporting those facing these illnesses. All are welcome at the Mass and a time of fellowship to follow. 
 
Rachel’s Vineyard retreat June 21-23
Rachel’s Vineyard, a weekend retreat for men and women who have been wounded by abortion, will be held next in the Diocese of Rockford on June 21 to 23 at Bishop Lane Retreat Center, 7708 E. St. Patrick Parish will hold a parish golf outing May 20 at the Hawk Country Club, 5N748 Burr Rd., here. Check-in opens at 10 a.m.; shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. $200/person; ticket covers 18 holes, a golf cart, lunch and cocktail hour. Sponsorships available.
