Have a Rosary Relay at Your House

Click on the rosary (above) to get to an 8 1/2 by 11 inch printable copy.
Decorate it and post it in a place that everyone passes in your home.
When you go by, stop for a minute or two and say the prayer for the next bead or two,
then mark the beads you’ve prayed. Explain it to everyone in the house,
so they can all take part.
If you post it on another surface, one way to mark a completed bead would be
to color a mark or symbol — maybe a small cross — next to it.
If yours is a “crafty” family, you’ll probably come up with better ways to decorate
and mark your rosary page.
As with any relay, it takes teamwork — the whole family — to “win the race.”
When you’ve finished one full rosary, you can start around again
on the same decorated paper.
Or you can print another one and start from scratch.

Give Dad a Tie

Father’s Day is coming up June 20. Instead of buying gifts for dad, stepdad or granddad,
why not gather the rest of the family together
to decorate ties that are unique.

-- Write notes about what’s special about your father.

-- Make a list of his favorite things from sport to saint, from holiday to holy day.

-- Say some prayers for him and include a spiritual bouquet.

-- And you don’t have to use words. Draw pictures to show him what makes him special to you.

For more ideas, search for Father’s Day tie crafts on the internet. There will be plenty of examples you can use. (Get mom or another adult to help.)
