DIOCESE—Parishes throughout the diocese gathered during September to pray for anyone contemplating suicide, those who have died by suicide and for those grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide. 

 

Parishes offered prayer services, some bilingual, in different forms. Some offered living rosaries and lit candles. Others held processions to bring flowers to Mary as they prayed the rosary.

 

Still others gathered in parish gardens for prayer. All united Catholics in the diocese. 

 

Some parishes plan to continue offering prayer services to provide comfort and healing to their parishioners.
