AURORA—Members of the Knights of Columbus Council #13436 based at St. John the Baptist Parish, Somonauk, and St. Paul the Apostle, Sandwich, came together Jan. 13 to support pro-life efforts. 

 

The Knights presented a check for $1,000 to Aurora’s Waterleaf Women’s Center, which assists pregnant women without referring for abortions. The donation was the second check for $1,000 the group presented to the center in the last three months. 

 

The Supreme Office of the Knights of Columbus also contributed a check through its Aid and Support After Pregnancy initiative, which provides $100 for each $500 donated by local councils to pregnancy support centers.
