Marmion Christmas craft show applications open
Applications are open for the Marmion Alumni Association’s annual Christmas Craft Show. The show is Nov. 30, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Dec. 1, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Regole Field House and Alumni Hall, 1000 Butterfield Rd. Event welcomes several thousand customers. Apply at www.marmion.org/crafter
Batavia Brotherhood Banquet May 7
Christian men of all denominations are invited to a banquet May 7, 6:30 p.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 950 Hart Rd. Golf outing June 14
Holy Cross Parish will hold a golf outing June 14 at Orchard Valley Golf Course, 2411 W. Illinois Ave., Aurora. Registration at 10:30 a.m.; shotgun start at noon. The Newman Catholic Student Center at Northern Illinois University will host a Eucharistic Revival night April 30, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at 512 Normal Rd. Will include a speaker, praise and worship, and adoration, followed by snacks. Cost: none.
Dessert fundraiser for Hope Life Center May 2
Hope Life Center, a pro-life pregnancy care center, will hold a dessert fundraiser May 2, 7 p.m., at Dillon Mall on the Sauk Valley Community College campus, 173 IL Rte. 2. Donate to Kids Heart Challenge through May 3
St. Anne School is joining in the American Heart Association “Kids Heart Challenge” through May 3. The association offers classroom and gym programs for students to learn about keeping their hearts and minds healthy. The school also has the opportunity to earn gym equipment. Hip-hop and worship concert May 17
St. Peter Parish will host a worship concert May 17, 7-9 p.m., at 1891 Kaneville Rd. Hip-hop artist Connor Flanagan, who encourages others to step into God’s dream for their lives, will perform on his Fulltime Dreamer tour. Cost: none; donations welcome.
Bingo night April 24

Gianna’s House open house April 28
Gianna’s House Pregnancy Resource Center will hold an open house April 28, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at 700 10th Ave. The event, held in honor of the feast day of St. Gianna Beretta Molla, will display the updates to the facility and will serve coffee cake and beverages.
Mental health Mass for feasts of St. Matthias, St. Dymphna May 14
Bishop David Malloy will celebrate a Mass for the feasts of St. Matthias and St. Dymphna on May 14, 5:30 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N. Church St. Sponsored by Catholic Charities Mental Health Ministry, the Mass will be held to pray for those living with addiction, mental health challenges and families supporting those facing these illnesses. All are welcome at the Mass and a time of fellowship to follow. 
‘Bible Foodie’ sampling April 20

St. Patrick Parish will hold a parish golf outing May 20 at the Hawk Country Club, 5N748 Burr Rd., here. Corpus Christi, parish festival June 2

Pancake breakfast April 28
The Knights of Columbus Council #13436 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish will hold a pancake breakfast April 28, 7:30-11:30 a.m., at 340 W. Arnold St. Menu includes pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs, sausage and more. Donations will be collected to support the Diocese of Rockford’s seminarians.
Trivia night April 20
Newman Central Catholic High School will hold a trivia night for those 21 years and up on April 20 in the main gym at 1101 W. 23rd St. Food (including a taco bar) and drinks served at 6 p.m.; trivia begins at 7 p.m. Prize is $800 in tuition assistance or $500 in cash.
