Golf outing June 14
Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish will hold a golf outing supporting the parish school on June 14 at Fox Bend Golf Course, 3516 US-34, Oswego. Registration at noon; shotgun start at 1 p.m.; dinner, awards and raffles at 5 p.m. Early bird deadline May 3. St. Mary Parish will host an exhibit on Eucharistic miracles May 17-19 at 226 E 2nd St. Hours are 8 a.m.-noon Friday, noon-6 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m.-noon Sunday. Cost: none.

Sidewalk advocacy training June 1
Sidewalk Advocates for Life (SAFL) will offer a basic training session June 1, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at St. Bridget Parish, 600 Clifford Ave. The training will teach how to counsel women in crisis pregnancies to choose life, particularly at the Maray Drive abortion clinic in Rockford. Pancake breakfast May 5
The Knights of Columbus Council #15119 will host a pancake breakfast May 5, 9 a.m.-noon, at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 801 Oak St. Gluten-free pancakes available upon request. Cost: $8/person; children 12 and under are free. 
 
Spring Bible study starts May 9
Blessed Sacrament Parish will hold a six-week Bible study starting May 9 at Holy Family Hall, 801 Oak St. Meetings are weekly on Thursdays, 6:30-8 p.m., through June 13. Deacon Ken McLaughlin will lead discussion on C. S. Lewis’s “The Screwtape Letters,” using study videos and materials by the C. S. Lewis Institute. Participants will need to buy or download a book copy. Sign-up sheets are in the narthex.

Divorce support ministry talk May 9
The Divorce Support Ministry at St. Patrick Parish will host a talk May 9, 6:30 p.m., in the St. Peter Room at 6N491 Crane Rd.
