ROCKFORD—A women’s retreat, “Discover Your Feminine Genius!,” will be held Jan. 20-21 at Bishop Lane Retreat Center, 7708 E. McGregor Road, here.
The retreat will give women a chance to reflect on who they are and the gifts they bring to the world. Participants will explore what Pope St. John Paul II calls the “feminine genius” and the unique role each woman has in bringing our culture back to a focus on humanity.
Women can choose to attend this event as an overnight retreat, Jan, 20-21, or as a day retreat on Jan. 21.
This retreat is being presented in partnership by ENDOW, Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women, and the Rockford Diocese Life and Family Evangelization Office.
Cost for the overnight retreat is $144 for a private room or $119 per person for a shared room. The Saturday-only retreat is $55 per person. Registration deadline is Jan. 6.
