Spring Grove Knights Help Autism Center

SPRING GROVE—On March 22, representatives of Knights of Columbus Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Council 12302 of St. Peter Parish in Spring Grove donated the proceeds from their Intellectual Disabilities (“Tootsie Roll”) drive to the Alexander Leigh Center for Autism in McHenry.
 
Lee Jones, Deputy Grand Knight; Scott Hastings, past Grand Knight; and Howard Emery, past Grand Knight and committee chairman, attended the presentation. 
 
Kelly Weaver, executive direcor of the center, and Lori Baker, director of development, accepted a check for $4,151.
 
The 2018 drive was held during the third week of September. Several Knights, including Joel Skinner and his son who were stationed near the Jewel-Osco supermarket in Spring Grove, spent many hours collecting loose change.
