Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

 

As we celebrate the Feast of Easter, we are reminded of the words of Pope Francis on Palm Sunday.  Speaking of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Holy Father said, “How did the Lord serve us? By giving his life for us. We are dear to him; we cost him dearly.”

 

Easter Sunday is the victory.  But the resurrection was preceded by suffering and death.

 

As we pass through the current test of the coronavirus, we should keep our eyes on Easter Sunday.  Jesus is with us in this and every trial.
