On March 6 and 7, Mercy for the Starving held its third St. Charles MobilePack event.

 

More than 600 volunteers from the two St. Charles parishes — St. Patrick and St. John Neumann — pack meals destined for Third World countries.

 

The March event packed over 132,000 meals. For all three Mercy for the Starving events, volunteers have packed over 375,000 meals.

 

The event is organized by the St. Charles Knights of Columbus Council 12947 and coordinated through the Feed our Starving Children organization. Meals have been sent to Haiti, Guatemala, and Western African countries, then distributed to children at school locations.
