CRYSTAL LAKE—Marcie Girolamo will head up a one-day pilgrimage to Chicago on Sept. 29, guided by Father Robert Jones, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. 

 

The pilgrimage will feature tours of Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica (including the National Shrine of St. Peregrine), the National Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini and St. Mary of the Angels Church.

 

A private Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica (pictured). 

 

The cost of the pilgrimage will be $95/person, which will cover transportation on an air-conditioned bus as well as tours and tips.

 

Pilgrims will pay for lunch at the Time Out Market. The bus for the pilgrimage will leave the Oak Street Church at 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave. at 7:15 a.m. and return at 6 p.m.
