Annual Life Chains Scheduled Oct. 5 in Rockford Diocese
September 26, 2014

DIOCESE—The annual Life Chain is an hour long peaceful and prayerful public witness and a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until natural death.

The Life Chain event is in solidarity with more than 1,200 Life Chains across the United States and Canada.

It is also part of a multinational Pro-Life Novena for Unborn Babies which takes place Sept. 29 through Oct. 7. The novena includes the daily recitation of the rosary during that period of time.

Pro-Life Novena for Unborn Babies’ participants can register their intentions at www.saintmichaelthearchangelorganization.org/. The registration serves as the individual person’s tally to reach the national goal of over one million rosaries during the Pro-Life Novena.
