Comedy Show April 11 at Dundee Parish
March 27, 2015

DUNDEE—As a comic reminder of Catholic life, the National Catholic Society of Foresters will present the amusing and nostalgic show “Put the NUNS in charge!” at 7 p.m., April 11, in the St. Catherine of Siena School gym at 845 W. Main St., here.

This is an actual “on the road” adaptation of the production that has been playing at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago for the past year.

“Put the NUNS in Charge!” is written and produced by Vicki Quade, one of the creators of the original “Late Nite Catechism.”

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

The event is a kick-off for the chartering of the National Catholic Society of Foresters new court at St. Catherine of Siena, and will raise funds to purchase a new body of Christ for the cross above the main altar at the church.

The National Catholic Society of Foresters will match up to $1,000 of the show’s proceeds to benefit the campaign.

NCSF is a fraternal benefit society founded in 1891 to offer life insurance and annuities to Catholic families.
