ROCKFORD—The annual Caritas luncheon and fashion show will take place on April 22, at Giovanni’s, 610 N. Bell School Road, here.

The theme this year is “Singing in the Rain,” and the event begins with a social hour and silent auction at 10:30 a.m.

At 11:30 a.m., preschool children from St. Elizabeth Catholic Community Center in Rockfod will present a few songs.

Lunch begins at 12:15, and diners have their choice of three options: Greek chicken, St. Lucia pork filet or gnudi dumplings, all with salad, rolls and a turtle brownie.

A fashion show with attire    from Dress Barn and Infinitely Sweet will follow the lunch.

Winners will be drawn for raffle prizes of $1,000 and $500 cash, a restaurant package and a car care package.

Proceeds benefit children’s programs run by Catholic Charities. And, because the event is on

Administrative Professionals Day, it’s a way to honor staff.

Tickets for the luncheon are $35. Raffle tickets are $5 or five for $20.
