ROSCOE—The Church of the Holy Spirit, founded in 1980, had its 40th anniversary Sept. 18, 2020. However, the celebration was delayed due to COVID-19. 

 

This year on Oct. 17 parishioners of the Church of the Holy Spirit celebrated the parish’s anniversary — just one year later than planned. 

 

The anniversary celebration began with Mass celebrated by Father Romeo Pavino. Afterward, Father Pavino and Father David Finn joined parishioners at a brunch served after Mass. 

 

Photo boards placed in the church hall during the brunch displayed sacraments, events and priests from the past 40 years. Parishioners shared memories, food and good company.
