Dixon Knights Hold Blood Drive
DIXON—The Knights of Columbus Council #690 held a blood drive on Nov. 29 at the Kay Cee Hall, where 58 units were donated to the Red Cross, Drive Chairman Bruce Kleinmaier reported.
OLGC Knights Support Home Parish
AURORA—The Knights of Columbus Council #14929 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish recently presented a donation of $1,000 to Father Timothy Mulcahey, parish pastor, for parish support. Presenting members, were: Jim Reiland, Trustee; Robert Heise, District Deputy; Ed Carroll, Deputy Grand Knight; and Ricky Rieckert, Grand Knight.
Proceeds were raised through a spaghetti dinner and other activities.
Dixon Knights Support Special Olympics
DIXON—The Knights of Columbus Council #690 presented the Illinois Special Olympics, Region A (Northern Illinois), with a donation raised in their 2023 Tootsie Roll Drive for those with intellectual disabilities.
The presentation was made by Grand Knight Mike DeSchepper and Tootsie Roll Drive Chairman, Johnathon Smith. Accepting the donation was Special Olympic Athlete, Tori Humphrey.
